Striking ethnographically-inspired kinetic modernist earrings by William Spratling, arguably the most important name in Mexican Silver. The top portion are classic Taxco, but the large dangling loops freely suspended add a fresh, modernist touch, along with the excitement of motion. These are large statement pieces, measuring 1.75' in length. They are not heavy and easy to wear. Original screw-back mechamisms in good working order. The earrings are authentic and bear Spratling's circa 1960s stamp. Excellent vintage condition.
