An original linen and silk 48 star flag Arizona and New Mexico admission, circa 1912, 70” x 48”. Provenance: L’Enfant Gallery purchased this from the daughter of Senator Denis Di Concini, of Arizona. The flag was a gift to the Senator from Senator Carl Hayden, who had acquired the flag at the time Arizona became a State. Price reflects the provenance.
