Japanese two(2) section Tansu, Cedar and Cypress Wood, Chest on chest, Meiji period before 1910's, 42"high, 34" wide, 17" deep, 2 large long graduated size drawers on upper section above one long drawer above shorter drawer next to 2 small drawers on the right side, lacquer painted Crane on the black iron round back plates, and pulls. Some of the small upper section black iron pieces are broken off and one top round black iron back plate has no crane design, maybe replaced later date some time ago.

Japanese 2 section Tansu or clothing Chest, Ca. Meiji period, before 1910, 42" high, 34" wide, 17" deep, Brass Cherry flower pedals attached on Black iron back plate and heavy black iron handles. Two(2) graduated long drawers on top section, and one(1) long drawer above one short drawer next to two(2) small drawers lower right side. Both sides are dark reddish brown lacquer finish, all original condition. Few small black iron back plate pieces are missing, shows some wood split caused by natural wood shrinkage.

Japanese early Meiji period deep wood Merchant chest, or box with three(3) deep graduated size drawers with black iron handles, 11" high, 16 1/4" deep from front to back, 8" wide, retains light honey color original finish. Dovetail joint around the back corners, wood shrinkage on top and side, shows the wears and tears, all original condition.

Japanese Marquetry inlaid Table, mid 1800's, beautifully detailed various design and color of wood Marquetry works are displayed in this three(3) functional table, all in one(1) table as a Book Stand, a Chess table and a Sewing or Work Table, 33 1/2" high, 13" deep, 35 1/2" wide when it is open, 17 1/2" wide when two(2) leaves are closed, with inlaid 4 side brackets support leaves on both sides. This multiple purpose table comes in two(2) parts, separate stand with curved black lacquered legs connected to the rectangle shape stretcher on the bottom to strengthen the legs. There are two(2) small drawers above one(1) long drawer next to the small door inlaid with Persimmon wood Cherry tree, and mounted with stamped white metal. Inside the door, there are small drawers. There is a removable inlaid board pull out from the front bottom area on top piece, use as a work table in front and also can be used as a reading board on top of the back as a reading table. This table is a multiple purpose table and space oriented, plus a very beautiful piece of Marquetry furniture in any room setting. There are slight warping on the table top, some wear and tear on wood surface, no missing inlaid pieces, but one small attached tree branch is missing on the small door on the right side, considering a very delicate piece of puzzle type marquetry wood work, the condition is good.

Japanese Marquetry wood inlaid Hanging Cabinet or hanging cupboard with doors, one(1) shelf inside, Meiji period, later part of 1800's, 24 3/4" high, 22 1/2", 6" deep. All the Marquetry inlaid wood designs are on the front part of the doors and the top area, representing typical Japanese Artistic Symbols on the Hardwood Cedar and other mixed wood, and Brass key hole is not complete. It shows beautiful wood old Patina with age, one(1) vertical small piece of the wood on the side panel is missing for long period of time, and one(1) hole in the back was mended.

Japanese dark Kiri wood Merchant's display document box and shelves with drawers, Meiji period, Ca. 1880, 19" high, 20" wide, 7" deep, two(2) shelves above three(3) small drawers, two(2) larger drawers at the bottom, all the drawers have brass round knob. The grains are beautiful and very decorative cut out design of pine tree and other Japanese design on the both side. The back side is enclosed small checker board wooden grills which is very decorative, maybe one time someone pasted rice paper on the back side but now is all open. The condition is good and original condition.

Japanese wooden Money box, Coin Box used in Shrine or Temple Prayer's Alter, later part of Meiji period, late 1800's, 10" high, 10" wide, 15 1/2" deep, with black wrought iron lock compartment, round flower shape button slide from left to right to open. The top front section lift up and open the box, there are round coin slot and paper money slot on top. This is all original condition and some scratches on wooden surface, no major damage.
