Chinese Bamboo Carved Brush Pot, inscribed and carved "Tao Kuang", in Chinese Characters, Ca. 1821-1851, 4 3/4" high, 2 3/4" diameter, low relief carved old scholar with long walking stick admiring the mountain scenery under the tree inside square enclosed window, and the other side is carved Poem with very stylish Chinese characters and also carved "Tao Kuang" Emperor's name on the side. The quality of carving is excellent high quality by Artist. There are two(2) small holes about 1/2" wide and very tight age crack caused by dry air about 1/2" long on the bottom rim.

Chinese white glazed Double Gourd Vase with incised 4 Ruyi with 3 flower petals inside each Ruyi design, 19th century, 5 1/2" high, 2 1/8" diameter-bottom rim, 1/2" diameter-top rim, 4" wide-widest middle section of the vase, unglazed bottom and sand got stuck around bottom rim during firing and also large sand firing mark on the side of the vase about 1/2" long, all the dots and dark area is kiln imperfect marking. Top has some tiny frits.

Japanese Blue and White very large and heavy Porcelain Hibachi, Ca. 1920, 14" high, 20 1/2" diameter-outer top rim, 16" diameter-inside top rim, 13 1/2" high, this is the one of the largest Hibachi of this kind, with underglaze blue mountain with bridge and pine trees, river with floating fish boats, very peaceful beautiful scenery. Pair Japanese Nabeshima porcelain impressed mark "Kotobuki(Longevity)" large Dishes, Meiji, before 1920, impressed mark on both dishes, 8 1/4" diameter-top rim, 4 1/4"-bottom rim, 2" high, stand on the very fine combed blue design high feet and coin decorated in underglaze blue underneath the dish, and the top of the dishes are decorated with underglaze blue with overglaze red bamboo basket interlocking weave design. The detail of the lines and interlocking design is done with one hair brush and also blue combed design on the high feet is very high quality exact brush strokes. Japanese Keyaki wood front and black iron mounted heavy 2 section Tansu, early Meiji period, 1890-1900, 46" high, 48" wide, 17 1/2" deep with 3 graduated long drawers and one shorter drawer, two small drawers are inside the heavy black iron mounted blind door on the bottom right side. The secondary wood is Cedar or some Pine mixed on the side and inside the drawers. All the black iron lock plates are decorated with Brass Turtle and black iron Eagles with Brass beak, Brass Turtles are swing around to cover the key holes. All the handles and corners are also black iron. Some of the black iron corners on the bottom area shows sign of old age, small pieces are broken off, couple small dents are on the top, otherwise the condition is good.

Japanese Keyaki wood heavy Tansu, early Meiji period, 1890-1900, 46" high, 48" wide, 17 1/2" deep with 2 long graduated size drawers on top section, bottom section consisted of one(1) shorter drawer on the left side and heavy black iron mounted blind door on the right bottom, consist of 2 small drawers behind the blind door. Brass Turtle(movable) to hide the key hole and heavy black iron Eagle decorated shaped back plates and handles on Keyaki wood drawer front, side panels and inside the drawers are mixed with Cedar wood and some other secondary wood. Two(2) heavy black iron handles on both sides to lock two pieces of tansu. Shows some scratches with age and small brakes on Eagle's beaks, otherwise whole Tansu is in good condition.
