Persian Sarouk Wool hand knotted large size Carpet, Ca. 1910, 10 1/2' x 15', very small hand knots for large carpet with dark blue and dark maroon reddish colors mainly, very rich and deep colors of floral and vines spread out on the soft wool surface which is evenly worn over the years. Two(2) shaped panels design on both ends and bordered by beautiful soft colors of typical Sarouk small patterns. The condition is evenly worn, no major damages, clean and no stains, edges are fine, ready to use in any homes. This Sarouk carpet was kept to one(1) family for over 100 years in Wash. DC area.
