The lizard handle vase is a most difficult to find McCoy vase!
This one measures 10" tall and is in a pretty matte white color. It has excellent mold detail and is in wonderful condition.
The only "use" evidence I could find is a 1/8" slice type ding on one of the lizards (back) and a 1/8" glaze chip at vase bottom edge/base. There is minor crazing that is not unusual with this color and matte glaze.
There is a production flake-off at the bottom edge (base) that measures approximately 1/2" long, 3/16" wide. At first glance, I thought it was "use" but upon closer inspection, I could see some of the white color/glaze in it so it is definitely a production pop/flake-off that I surmise occurred during removal from the mold.
This is a very attractive example of McCoy's older stoneware vases!
