Beautiful color and mold detail on this McCoy hand vase! This is the hand holding a cornucopia vase, is aqua color with semi-matte glaze, and is marked with overlapping NM, USA. Vase appears to have been quite pampered -- it has some crazing and a ¾” slice type chip on bottom dry (setting) ring. It’s nice and clean and appears to have only been used as a display piece. However, I purchased it at a moving sale/auction, and it has a ½” glaze chip on base and a couple teeny ones on fingers – these are glaze only, the pottery is not chipped in any way. I’ve seen glaze flake-offs like this but always on jardinières or flower pots that have been in water for an extended period of time but that is obviously not the case with this hand vase. It’s a lovely item, a great addition to a collection, and is priced to reflect imperfection.
