Absolutely beautiful, absolutely mint condition – this listing has Florence Ceramic’s “Story Hour” with the boy and girl figurine! There is no broken lace or fingers – there is a SMALL production “pop” on the little boy’s sleeve (at wrist) that received color and glaze, it is not damage.
Per the “Complete Book of Florence Ceramics” by Kline, Webrspaun, and Kline, “Story Hour” represents some of Florence Ward’s finest work. Also per this book, the 2002 valuation assigned to this figurine is $1100 -- $1250.
