When I purchased this piece of Cleminson Pottery at an estate sale many years ago, I had absolutely no idea of its purpose or what it was supposed to hold!
After I listed this item for sale, a very knowledgeable Cleminson Pottery collector told me it is a cigarette packs holder or "Smokes Holder". It is designed to hang on the wall and cigarette packs are placed inside to be removed from the bottom. Who would have thought!! Thank you Richard!!
Item measures 9 ¼” long (at longest), 4” wide, 2 5/8” tall and back is marked Cleminsons. It is in excellent condition.
