We have an early cuff and earring set that is marked with only Mexico Sterling. The filigree is thick and heavy. The frame going around is firm. The curls are precise and great care was made for the prongs that hold the stone to have the feel for the rest of the design with filigree loops. These wondrous bumble bees are a Margot de Taxco signed creation. She is known for her fantastic enamel work. The earring clamps work and are the thickest best working clampers I have put on. The enamel is PERFECT. These are a published design in the Penny Morrill books on the Mexican Silver Renaissance.

I have a pair of 18kt solid gold William Spratling earrings today that are obsidian spikes. There are 5 obsidian spikes to each earring and they are in perfect condition.
