This Quetzalcoatl necklace and brooch is a true sculpture. Beautifully detailed with 107 grams of heavy silver repousse. The wearable length is 18 inches long. The drop / brooch is 3in. and 3.75in. tall. There is no damage and a gorgeous natural patina. The feathered repousse chain links easily unhook to become a brooch. This Los Castillo is one designed by Margot Van Voorhies when married to Don Antonio Castillo that unhooks and also doubles as a brooch. This ring made by Miguel Martinez is such a striking creative piece of seeing a stone an letting the rock speak. The band flows from underneath to the front to hold in the stone. The dimensions are 12.4 grams heavy and a size 8.5 which can be sized. The face is 1.25in. long and .75in. wide. This is an early piece of Miguels work and he became the principle designer of Rancho Allegre. Properly hallmarked as show. Fabulous and daring piece.

Velazquez is known for his folkwork style in Mexico City. Repousse carved tops and puffy moth links were his specialty. This amethyst center is a gorgeous glowing stone. A roomy, approximately 17in wearable and a 1 1/8 inch at it's widest point in the drop make a clean, tasteful size to wear with anything and go anywhere. The weight is 53 grams with no damage, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!

Woven figure eights set off design # 5625 - A by Margot Van Voorhies. The bracelet is just under one inch and the earrings are 1 3/8th's long. The silver is thick and has 70 grams combined weight. This is a very rare design with a rich presence and a soft touch to the silver. All pieces properly hallmarked for Margot de Taxco Taller. Margot was a premier designer in the Mexican Silver Renaissance and certainly the most accomplished female artist.
