The Hector Aguilar Glyph is a rare treasure from the Mexican Silver Renaissance. This one has a 990 mark making the silver almost pure. It is soft to the hand and more white in color. The 990 also reflects the age of the piece being one of Aguilar's earliest pieces. We have seen the matching brooch featured in Penny Morrill's books on Mexican Silver. Eighteen inches is the wearable length. Dimensions on the drop are 2.5 x 2.75 x 2.5. With considerable heft of 94 grams the treasure reflects quali...

Matilde Poulat was the master of design in the folkloric style during the Spratling Era. This necklace is a pre 1960 with hallmarks as shown and when she was still designing in her shop named MATL. These early Matl's are truly getting hard to find and are most rare. I would define the size as mid sized with a drop 3.5 inches across and 3 inches tall. The weight is a hefty 77 grams. At 18in. long it will fit most and it lays beautifully on the neck. The second to last photo shows this Matl and an...
