Woven figure eights set off design # 5625 - A by Margot Van Voorhies. The bracelet is just under one inch and the earrings are 1 3/8th's long. The silver is thick and has 70 grams combined weight. This is a very rare design with a rich presence and a soft touch to the silver. All pieces properly hallmarked for Margot de Taxco Taller. Margot was a premier designer in the Mexican Silver Renaissance and certainly the most accomplished female artist.

There is a 10in span of 3 drops and 2 additional links connected to chain and a thick silver hook. The necklace has a wearable length of 17in. Each drop is a dramatic 2.5in. long and the silver to the links is also thick and made with precision repousse. With a hallmark of STERLING MEXICO and no dents or damage anywhere we have a very smart presence to enjoy. The weight is 52 grams which is heavy considering the 7 inches of chain. Pedro Castillo was known for quality in his work and beautiful design. He has an impressive resume working for William Spratling in the 30's and also a Maestro for Hector Aguilar beginning in 1939. These Mexican silver dimensional floral earrings show great detail of the open flower. The size is 1.25 inches by 1 inch. Hallmarked as shown by DS and weighing 8 grams. These look like a perfect match to the clamper also listed on my site of the same flower. The presence of the earring on is a beautiful reflection. Condition is perfect.

This is a Mexican silver vintage Margot de Taxco necklace that bares an early design #5204. The piece is almost 16in. long and sits on the neck .75in. tall. The repousse work is outstanding on this design 543 Los Castillo bracelet. It is 2 inches tall with a hook closure. The old linear hallmark and the design itself shows that this was the work of Margot Van Voorhies when married to Antonio Castillo. Together they formed the taller Los Castillo. The links are rounded to fit the arm perfectly and are 6.75 inches long. An outstanding bracelet to add to a collectors wardrobe. It will be noticed by all that gaze upon it.

These wondrous bumble bees are a Margot de Taxco signed creation. She is known for her fantastic enamel work. The earring clamps work and are the thickest best working clampers I have put on. The enamel is PERFECT. These are a published design in the Penny Morrill books on the Mexican Silver Renaissance.

The curls are precise and great care was made for the prongs that hold the stone to have the feel for the rest of the design with filigree loops. This necklace is signed Taxco 980 and while there is no artist attached to this work it is of exceptional quality. Thick silver, attached with rivets, and classic style set this Mexican silver necklace apart from others. It is 7/8ths inches tall for all three pieces.
