This is a Los Castillo design made by Hilario Lopez who worked for several Tallers through his career(of which one was Margot de Taxco) and he was an accomplished Maestro. The construction is open backed repousse but it is framed in heavy silver making a respectable 80 grams heavy. There is lots of bead work executed on this design and it is in impeccable condition. If you could find an original Los Castillo of this rare design it would cost at least twice what this one costs. The earrings weigh...

Some would say this is Antonio Pineda's most loved design. His work is masterful and with a 1.75in. tall presence it commands center stage. The diameter is 4.5in. and is at least a 16.5in. wearable length. My model has molded hair that takes up some length of the necklace in the back so it will be somewhat longer on you. The obsidian glows (but is hard to photograph). No damage and no flaws with a display of 223 grams of majestic silver and stone. Each arc is raised with lift evenly all around t...

The vining floral from the vessel has great depth with 940 silver and dark natural patina from time. The weight is 66 grams heavy with a drop of 3.5in. tall and 4in. span across. Los Ballesteros created an acorn clamper bracelet that surpasses any other I have seen. The repousse is exaggerated to be even more 3 dimensional by being mounted on the base which is blackened niello. The entire piece was hand chased onto the repousse. We have a tight spring and a 2.25in. inner diameter that fits most. The face front is 4in. tall making it a striking example. This is the best acorn design I have come across and in the best condition I have seen one in. A great piece for your cl...
