Hector Aguilar is known for his designs of quality Mexican silver. This is a hard to find Lyre design with a length of 16 inches. You need the length otherwise it would be a true choker. The height is .75in. with a depth of .25in. This link is a bit bigger than other Lyres. Because it is hand made they all can vary slightly. The condition is stellar with no dents or damage. The weight is 140 grams heavy which speaks to it's quality workmanship. If you are looking for an Aguilar that you can wea...

We have an early cuff and earring set that is marked with only Mexico Sterling. The filigree is thick and heavy. The frame going around is firm. The curls are precise and great care was made for the prongs that hold the stone to have the feel for the rest of the design with filigree loops. Leaves with a pretty patina adorn the back of each side. Please ask and I can send pictures of the markings. The gap is 1in. and the height is a huge 2.5in. tall. This is a substantial set weighing 74 grams. T...

Enrique Ledesma high sheen Mexican silver work of art weighing 50 grams and having a height of 7/8th of an inch. My pictures truly can not capture the beauty of this bracelet. In my hands the obsidian is BLAZING and I could not get one photo of it. There are reflections in the pictures, no loss or damage. An excellent example of Ledesma workmanship at a time before lazers were used to cut the jewelers stones.

When I first saw these very old Margarita signed Vintage Mexican Silver Earrings I thought they were incredible and very special. I went back again and again to see them as the price was extremely high. After more looking I really felt these were not just rare but monumental. They are 3.5in. long and 1.5in. High. One photo shows a slice from the side and you can see there are cut out layers. I do not know how but when you put these on they are comfortable. You would think for something as large ...

Dramatic with a signed Taxco 980 which always reflects quality. The drop is 4.5in. across and 2.5in. tall. Today we have a vintage Mexican silver parure made by Maestro Sigi Pineda. Sigi has had a long career in handmade jewelry within the Spratling era. His work is heavy, made with excellent stones as this parure also has. The obsidian is extreme sheen on the necklace and you may see silver dots that sparkle on the other pictures which is the camera reacting to the sheen in less light. There is no damage of any kind and this modernist design is a basic to wear with anything. When we see a band aroun...

Gerardo Lopez was and is known to have made these gorgeous pectoral necklaces that really say it all about the fashion of Mexican silver in the Spratling era. This example is correctly hallmarked as shown and has no damage of any kind. The patina is natural and untouched for as long as I have owned it for several years. What is most interesting is that when you look and compare to another there is often a design element a little different between each other. The drop is 4in. across and 4in. hig...

Matilde Poulat was the master of design in the folkloric style during the Spratling Era. This necklace is a pre 1960 with hallmarks as shown and when she was still designing in her shop named MATL. These early Matl's are truly getting hard to find and are most rare. I would define the size as mid sized with a drop 3.5 inches across and 3 inches tall. The weight is a hefty 77 grams. At 18in. long it will fit most and it lays beautifully on the neck. The second to last photo shows this Matl and an...

This bracelet makes a statement of style and quality with a weight of 101 grams and a height of 2.25in. tall. Marked as shown with SILVER MEXICO. This mark usually denotes Mexico City as the origi...
