Gerardo Lopez was and is known to have made these gorgeous pectoral necklaces that really say it all about the fashion of Mexican silver in the Spratling era. This example is correctly hallmarked as shown and has no damage of any kind. The patina is natural and untouched for as long as I have owned it for several years. What is most interesting is that when you look and compare to another there is often a design element a little different between each other. The drop is 4in. across and 4in. high. There is a good 16in. wearable length. It lays perfectly next to the skin. The repousse is masterful and thick and weighs 115 grams heavy.
