Bernice Goodspeed is respected as one of the women of Taxco from the Mexican Silver Renaissance. The silver is thick with a count of 48 grams (not bendy at all) and displays a heavy patina. The condition is without damage. These fire opals are stunning and seem to have a whole different world inside them. We have a wearable length of 17 inches long and the center drop is 1.5in. tall and 1.25in. wide. At it's widest point the two S links flanking the center stone the are 3/8 th's of an inch across . Fire opals are 4/8th of an inch tall and the sides are 3/8 th's across. Marked sterling and tests to sterling silver. A superb find for collectors, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!
