This rare 7.75" t. x 4.75" wall pocket was made by the Sebring Pottery (in Alliance, Ohio) in about 1929-1930, contemporary with Roseville's Futura, Muncie's Ruba Rombic, and Weller's Lorbeek. The jazzy skyscraper angularity of those lines lasted only 1 season, until the stock market crash made consumers aim for long-term livability in their purchases, not novelty.

Bears an original paper label reading "LEIGH ART WARE" and naming this glaze as "Bronze." Excellent condition.
