A superb Chinese Wucai porcelain vase dating from the Ming dynasty (1368-1644). The vase was recently brought back from Europe, where it used to be mounted.

A sublime gohon chawan (gohon tea bowl) from the Korean Joseon period (1392-1897), 16th century, imported into Japan probably during the 17th century. The bowl presents traces of repair beautifully made with lacquer and gold (kintsugi).

A spectacular flask (tokkuri, in Japanese) dating from the Korean Joseon dynasty (1392-1897), 16th-beginning of 17th century. The pouring vessel is made in the Buncheong style of ceramics (Mishima, in Japanese).

The flask presents sublime repairs made in lacquer in gold, decorated with very fine incisions, dating from the Japanese Edo period (1615-1868).

A remarkable blue and white jar decorated with two dragons. The jar dates from the Korean Joseon period (Richo, in Japanese; 1392-1897), probably 18th century.

The jar shows traces of old repairs made during the Japanese Edo period (1615-1868). They were made by literally stapling the broken or cracked pieces together.
