A very interesting Imari bowl, dating from the end of the Edo period (1615-1868; Bakufu). The bowl depicts a map of the Japanese island of Kyushu, onto which the name of ancient provinces is written (e.g. Bungo, Buzen, Chikugo, Chikuzen, Satsuma…).

The bowl presents very few flaws (kindly refer to pictures). It will be shipped in a worn antique wooden box, which bears the seal of its maker.
