A superb soribachi (warped bowl) made in the Tamba pottery tradition, and dating from the Edo period (1615-1868). The very attractive vessel shows a wide range of tones and textures and mesmerizes with every turn and touch, inside and out.

The bowl is in overall very good condition, with one visible old chip on its base (please refer to picture). It will be shipped in an antique fitted wooden box.
