A remarkable set of two paintings from the Japanese Muromachi period (1336-1573) mounted on a screen.

Each represents a demon, painted in vivid colors and sublime details.

Kindly inquire if you have some questions.

The support for the painting (screen itself) probably dates from the beginning of the 20th century. It presents tears in the back, but the paintings are not affected. They show traces of wear but are otherwise in good condition. Kindly refer to pictures for details and condition.
Size: screen 146 x 152 (w) cm (58.4 x 60.8 in); painting 100 x 41 cm (each) (40 x 16.4 in)

Worldwide shipping, with insurance and tracking.
Please understand there might be some delay receiving clearance from the Japanese Agency for Cultural Affairs to ship the screen outside of Japan (standard procedure for important and expensive antiques).
