A Norway sterling silver and blue enamel brooch circa 1960s by Einar Modahl of Oslo. This attractive vintage modern 2-1/8" x 1-5/8" pin is a lovely royal hue. This Norwegian abstract double leaf is marked 925 S with the Einar Modahl maker's mark and an N in a square and STERLING NORWAY. The light colour or mauvish spots are artifacts of the photography and light reflections, the enamel is smooth and even with no damage. It has a modified catch which is now a c-clasp (no locking wheel), and it weighs 11.2 grams. A jeweler could add a locking wheel back to clasp. It has a springring clasp which is marked AIRFLEX on the loop and STERLING on the springring. These are not rhodium plated unlike the chain and may not be original to this bracelet. A Georg Jensen sterling silver double tulip pin and earrings set in a red Georg Jensen New York box. The brooch measures 1-3/4 x 1-3/8" and has a safety catch and it matches the 7/8" x 5/8" clip-on earrings. The red box with the white satin and black velvet interior has the stamp for the Georg Jensen shop at 667 Fifth Avenue New York, and the brooch has the Jensen mark along with STERLING DENMARK 100 C (the pattern mark) and the earrings have just the 100 after the Jensen Denmark and sterling marks. A signed Thomas Kerr Ebbutt galleon sailing ship sterling silver pin or brooch fully hallmarked for Edinburgh, Scotland 1959. It has the Ebbutt maker's mark (in use from 1937-69), it weighs 7.5 grams and there is a ribbon below the Viking style ship which has never been engraved. It is also stamped SOTLAND (sic) and it has an etched identification date from a previous owner. A striking vintage Mexican sterling pendant set with a mixture of inlaid lapis and malachite, with a large cabochon cut tiger eye gem in the centre c1950-60. Two of the dangling pendants are also inlaid with lapis and malachite, and the centre dangle is solid silver. The pendant alone measures 3-3/4" x 2-1/8", and weighs 26.2 grams. It is stamped STERLING 925 with the eagle mark with a 2 in the centre, and the initials MR. There was a silversmith named Melecio Rodriguez who worked at the Rancho Alegre and for Margot de Taxco, but I can't verify if this is his work or not. It comes with a 18-1/2" sterling heavy link chain (weighs 16.7 grams, not Mexican manufacture). It is in very good condition, but please note than there is 1/8" piece missing from the second inlaid drop of the pendant. Otherwise it is in lovely condition, no breaks, wear, repairs or damage.
