A pair of superb Czech Deco cabinet plates from the 1920s. This wonderful and decorative pair of Czechoslovakian porcelain 9-1/2" cabinet plates c1920s has an orange and yellow multicolour angular border outside a lush cobalt blue inner rim with gold decoration. The portrait inner has gold decoration around the perimeter and highly detailed and colourful transfer portraits of jewel bedecked young ladies. Each bears the D&F CZECHOSLOVAKIA mark of EPIAG PROESCHOLD & CO. and one plate has a 10661Y design number. Each is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, losses, damage or repairs other than some tiny scrapes to the brown ground on the ethnic young woman's portrait. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use.
