A Revernay French art studio pottery vase probably from the 1920s. Made by Atelier Revernay of France (known 1896-1930s), this attractive 8 1/4" tall vase has molded drip highlights and a mottled blue and brown glaze. The blue has deep greenish under-tones. It is hand incised 23 and REVERNAY on the bottom of the vase and it has a MADE IN FRANCE over-glaze mark also. A Grenfell flying Canada geese 23" x 15" hooked mat wall hanging with label from the 1920s-30s. This fine and vintage beauty depicts two flying Canada geese over green and tan pine trees. A Victorian gold filled photo locket on a fancy rolled gold plate chain necklace from the 1870s 1880s. This necklace is unusual in that it is gold filled and not the typical sterling silver and it features yellow gold plate and a strip of fancy bordered rose gold plate setting off the design. It has a subtle matte finish and the rose gold is glossy and it opens up to show two (very faded) baby photos which both have annotations with names and the date 1900 as well as the paper lining, original glass windows and both bezels. A Heisey Octagon 1229 black glass footed fruit bowl with coralene butterflies from the 1920s. This elegant glass footed bowl features lush gold trim and hand painted gold decoration along with fine blue, pink and white coralene butterflies and lily of the valley hand painted decoration. This fruit bowl or table centerpiece bowl measures 11 x 9" (including the handles) and it is an unmarked Heisey Octagon 1229 blank. We haven't seen another example of this decoration or of this black colour and it is possible that it was a special order or line made exclusively for a major retailer at the time (we have found no other examples of the blank in black glass). An M.J. Tobias Liverpool 18k & sterling engraved face Swiss pocket watch from the 1890s. This 14 size or 18 ligne watch is 1-7/8" across and it has a typical unmarked Swiss bar movement, a fancy engraved 18k yellow gold back cover with Swiss gold markings, a dust cover marked M.J. TOBIAS LIVERPOOL HANDS DETACHED LEVER FULL JEWELLED, and a very fancy engine turned and engraved sterling silver face with a village scene under a silver rimmed open face cover with a glass crystal. It has subtle gilded highlights, a single sunk second hand dial, blued hands and applied silver Roman numbers. A Barbour Silver Co. silver plated tilt kettle, stand and associated burner from the 1890s. It has a simple, elegant design and it stands 13" tall from the top of the ebony wood handle to the bottom of the stand's ball feet. The base is unsigned, the kettle is stamped BARBOUR SILVER CO. NICKEL SILVER 4002 (operating from 1892-98) and the associated burner has the Meriden stamp. It is signed DYNASTY STER and the charms include: musical notation, comedy/tragedy masks, sombrero (not rhodium plated), wise owl (1 rhinestone eye (one missing)), treble clef, castle tower and bridge, lamp and book (McKay 28-6-76 engraved on back), Gemini (w/glass "stone"), bride w/bouquet, Parliament Building (Ottawa), bongo player, Hawaii (2 rhinestones), ballet dancer, palm tree, minaret clock (not rhodium plated, heavy, early), pineapple (not rhodium plated, heavy, early), grand piano, mortarboard cap (C.M.T. 19-6-74 engraved on back). A chain link sterling silver charm bracelet with 20 charms from the 1960s. This 7-1/4" bracelet is 3/16" across the flat oval links and it has a springring clasp. A 14k ruby and diamonds ring from the 1980s with an appraisal. This size 6-1/2 or 6.5 yellow gold ring features a one carat oval faceted genuine ruby (clarity I, included) with 12 round brilliant cut diamonds (total 0.30 carat, SI-1/I-1, J-M colour) surrounding the ruby and an additional 6 round brilliant cut 3 point diamonds (SI-1/I-1, J-M, one diamond chipped) set on each side of the ruby (total of 18 diamonds). Views 2-5 h are additional to show the actual colour of the ruby, which is a deeper red than it appears in the first picture. This ring weighs 3.97 grams and it includes an independent gemological appraisal for $3000.00 CAD. It is marked 14K with a maker's mark.
