A Fumio Tamura 1969 Nokemono framed litho print 2/7. This evocative semi-erotic colour lithograph print entitled "Nokemono" (translated from Japanese - outcast) was produced in 1969 by Fumio Tamura (Japan, 1941-). Fumio Tamura was born in the Nagano prefecture, and he graduated from Tokyo Art College in 1968, so this 1969 litho dates from early in his career. It is in a metal frame, and it measures 24-1/2" x 21", with an image size of 18" x 14-1/2". It is a very small edition issue, inscribed in pencil 2/7, with the title in Japanese and in English NOKEMONO and it has the artist's signature F. Tamura '69. It retains the original Toronto gallery sticker on the back, and this print is is in excellent condition with no foxing, tears, staining, fading, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use.
