A 19th century Dutch red glass necklace with a 14k carnelian clasp. This Victorian era 19th century 36-1/4" hand cut red glass bead necklace is complete with a Dutch hallmarked 14k yellow gold clasp. The beads have a rich red garnet colour and the 1/2" diameter box clasp has a natural carnelian stone with an inset gold flourish at the center. It has the Dutch oak leaf gold mark in use from 1852-1906, and this lovely necklace is in excellent condition with no cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some expected minute edge chipping and abrasions to some of the red beads (barely noticeable). All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use. Expedited tracked and insured parcel shipping to the U.S. starts at $21 (other spots may vary, air is higher). Items paid with a credit card will be shipped to confirmed addresses only.
