An Arts & Crafts patinated bronze ink well from the 1900 to 1910 era. This Edwardian writing or desk accessory features green patination with a fine A&C gold stencil on the front above the pen rest. It stands 3-7/8" tall, 3" wide and 4-1/2" deep. It retains its original blown clear glass inkwell or ink pot and it is stamped BENEDICT ADAM VERO 2213 on the bottom. It is in very good condition with no bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some expected ink stains and surface spotting and minor edge rubs to the stand and a hole on the bottom of the glass ink well where someone had drilled it (this can be epoxied over or repaired by a glassmaker). there is also a small bump on the back with a tight surface crack to the patination. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use. Expedited tracked and insured parcel shipping to the U.S. starts at $22 (other spots may vary, air is higher). Items paid with a credit card will be shipped to confirmed addresses only.
