An Art Deco period 19k white gold wedding band circa 1920s. This size 5-1/2 or size 5.5 women's wedding ring is stamped 19 K and FORGET ME NOT and it is slightly over 1/16" wide, or a hair over 2mm wide. It weighs 2.5 grams and it has a fine engraved design. It is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. It is consistent in shape with no thin areas. It would also work nicely with a vintage platinum engagement ring. While the key stamp was used by more than one firm, the Forget Me Not line was produced by Saunders, Lorie and Co., of Toronto, Canada. According to D. Rainwater (American Jewelry Manufacturers, Schiffer Publishing) their advertisements were found from 1897 until 1922. Their production period may have been slightly longer than that.
