A Roden (Birks) sterling 1930s napkin ring with an N monogram by Roden Bros, Toronto. Roden was bought out by Birks in 1928. This 3/4" wide sterling napkin ring measures 2" x 1-1/2" across the interior and it has lined decoration. It has a rubbed STERLING mark with the Roden maker's mark. Birks bought all Roden's inventory and parts and molds, and the Roden mark can be seen on some Birks silver items until several decades after. It weighs 19.2 grams and it is in excellent vintage condition with no breaks, bends, corrosion, losses, or repairs. It had the expected patina from use and some very tiny edge dents on upper rim, visible upon very close inspection. An individual sterling silver egg cup with Birmingham 1937 hallmarks. This vintage 2-9/16" tall sterling eggcup is a simple design, and has a J monogram engraved on the f side. It has a swirled brown celluloid base cover covering the weighted base. It has a A.S.P Co. mark for the Angora Silver Plate Co. Ltd who were in Birmingham and in London. It weighs 34.9 gr. and it is in very good condition with no breaks, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs, but please note that the base has a very slight surface denting which makes it appear a little out of the round - please see picture. A vintage pierced sterling silver napkin ring c1920s by Roden. Roden was bought out by Birks in 1928. It is stamped STERLING with the Roden company mark. This 1-3/4" across napkin ring is 5/8" wide, and it has (remarkably) never been monogrammed. This one is stamped A800 with an A (bee or figure) C maker's mark. This mark was used in Belgium on silver articles after 1942, we have been unable to identify the maker as yet. An English sterling silver mustard pot dated 1920. This vintage fully hallmarked English sterling silver 2-3/8" tall footed round mustard pot with a handle was made in Chester in 1920-21. This table serving item has a hinged lid and a slot for a mustard spoon, and it has the original cobalt blue glass liner. It has a WV&S maker's mark for William Vale & Sons (registered 1895) and it has a weighted base for stability (with some later felt on the bottom). A Garrard of London sterling silver gravy sauce boat dated 1972. It is fully hallmarked for London, England with a date mark for 1972. It measures just under 6" in length, and is 2-7/8" in width, with a greatest height of 3-1/4" (handle). This elegant boat has three hoof-shaped feet. It has the maker's mark G&Co Ld for Garrard and it is stamped GARRARD & Co Ltd 112 REGENT STREET LONDON W on the bottom. Garrard & Company is one of the most, if not the most prestigious goldmith and jeweller in the UK, and was until recently the Crown jeweller. An original Rumrill Indian Group orange and bay glaze vase. This great looking, authentic and vintage signed RumRill 5-1/2" tall American art pottery bulbous vase c1935-39 has a crimped star-shaped rim and a tan interior, and it is in the Indian Group line with the orange and bay glaze. It has a 309 style number and the vintage RumRill signature, and the orange and brown glaze is superbly applied, giving this example a great look reminiscent of the (much later) German art pottery of the 1950s and 1960s. The orange bowl has the stamped Medicine Hat mark and an underglaze 8, the other has just the 8 (the stamp would be invisible on the cobalt).
