Hallmarks date this bracelet late 1950's - early 1960's. It's a beautiful modernist design by Antonio Pineda, with angled amethyst cylinders alternating with silver bars. The kind of go-to piece which works with any outfit and occasions. Classy, elegant, sleek, and luxurious. Feels great on the wrist. The tongue in box clasp is tight and perfect. It's square and large.
Measures a closed, wearable length of 6 3/4", with a width of 5/8".
Weight is a substantial 78.4 grams.
Signed and hallmarked with the Antonio Taxco Crown, Mexico 970, the eagle assay 58, and the Soc 2 Los Castillo Coop mark.
In fine vintage condition. The amethyst are well-matched in gorgeous grape hues, with natural inclusions. One stone has a hairline surface crack in one corner, you can see it in last two pics. It doesn't go through the stone, and it isn't noticeable unless under magnification.
