Hallmarks date this William Spratling bracelet to 1939.
Known as his "Pillow" bracelet, this is really a spectacular piece, with eight repoussé silver panels with copper swirls. Triple silver beads separate the panels, with tiny silver beading on top and bottom. Closes with a pin on a chain.
Measures 8" end to end, with a closed, wearable length of 7 1/4".
Measuring slightly on the diagonal from one tiny silver bead on top to bottom.
Weight is 75 grams.
Signed and hallmarked "WS 980 Taxco Mexico".
In excellent vintage condition. Original pin and chain closure. No repairs, absolutely gorgeous. There is a tiny pin sized hole on top of one of the silver balls - see last pic, which looks to be original to the piece.
