Circa 1948-1953, this Antonio Pineda bracelet is spectacular in every way. It's an early piece, signed with his "Silver by Tono" hallmark, and it's extremely weighty at 151.6 grams. A gorgeous bracelet which can be worn by either a man or woman.
Composed of seven thick and solid square panels, each with a highly polished bezel-set onyx stone. 2250The onyx sits within the center of a cut-out square, attached with four silver balls - one in each corner of the frame.
Measures a closed, wearable length of 6 7/8", with a width of 1". Depth is 5/16".
Signed and hallmarked "Silver by Tono", "Taxco", the design # ZZ600, and the eagle assay 17.
In excellent vintage condition. Collector quality. This bracelet has been very well cared for. Original safety chain attached. No repairs, no issues. Clasp is a tight and secure tongue in box.
