This is a Pre-Columbian PACHACAMAC / PACHA KAMAQ Polychrome BOWL from Peru, 800 - 1450 C.E. It measures about 5" X 5" X 3" ( 12.8 cm X 12.8 cm X 7.7 cm ). There's a hole at the bottom of the bowl. Pachacamac was located 40 Kms South East of Lima, in the Valley of the Lurin River. Pachacamac built pyramids and cemeteries. The Huari / Wari Culture had influence in the ceramics and textiles. Pachacamac was used as a religious site. Pacha Kamaq was the creator god for those who lived in the area, before the arrival of the Incas. The Incas used Pachacamac as an administrative center.
