Circa 1736-1795 Chinese Wax Seals. Guaranteed to be 18th Century from this period. We deal in this period chinese export porcelain and we are not knowledgeable about this item which is a pair of wax seals. Other than the fact that wax seals similar to these became popular in the 20TH Century, especially when buying antiques in China. Visitors were urged to make sure you brought and carried a wax seal indicating that your purchases were antique. This was a way of authenticating items that were to be exported from China. It should be known that antiques dated before C.1775 Could Not Be legally Exported. Apparently the stamp or seal is missing But just having this pair is a real find from this time period, especially from China.
