Outstanding vintage 1960s or earlier Native American necklace, probably Navajo, with large graduated free form green turquoise beads and silver beads known as Navajo pearls, with a silver hook and eye clasp. Not marked as is traditional with older Native American jewelry but the metal tests positive for at least 900 silver. As found with dark aged finish on the silver beads. 24 inches wearable length and approximately 3/4 inch wide at center. 92 grams. Excellent condition. One literally pinpoint size indentation on one oblong silver bead, not at all noticeable at a short distance. Display form is life size. Photos enlarged to show detail.
