A large bottle form vase covered in glassy green over dark swirling lines, a powerful presentation by Takemoto Genhichi enclosed in the original signed wooden box. It is 12-1/2 inches (34 cm) tall 8-1/2 inches (21.5 cm) diameter and in perfect condition. Genhichi (Also Genshichi) studied at the osaka Municipal Art University then apprenticed to the 9th generation Shirai Hanshichi before branching out on his own. He has consistently stayed in the intimate world of private exhibitions, avoiding public competition.
