Joseph Pennell, American, 1857-1926, "Waterloo Bridge and Somerset House". A beautiful architectural cityscape by master printmaker, Joseph Pennell. Measuring 8 x 11 inches, it is pencil signed with publishers label on the backing. Created in 1905 in an edition of probably 75, cat: Wuerth #379. Peter Moran, American, 1842-1914, "Noonday". A finely detailed original etching by Peter Moran, this image measures 7 3/4 x 10 5/8 inches, 1887, state II/III, cat: Wright- 94, with the separate frog remarque lower left, pencil signed, framed. Peter Moran was one of the foremost artists of the American etching revival of the late 19th century. He was known for his images of cows and farm animals, as well as his atmospheric scenes of the American Southwest.

Luigi Lucioni, Italian-American, 1900-1988, "Vermont Splendor". This Vermont landscape by the American artist Luigi Lucioni measures 6 1/4 x 10 7/8 inches, pencil signed, 1944, edition of 250. Lucioni was known for his remarkably detailed etchings of the New England landscape that he could bring to life and gained worldwide attention as one of the great Regionalist artists.

Warren Davis, American, 1865-1928, "Seated Nymph," Etching, image size 8 x 5 3/4 inches, pencil signed l.r. "Warren Davis" on wove paper. Davis studied at the Art Students League in New York and became known for his etchings of idealized female figures. Many were used on the covers of Vanity Fair and Life magazines. Later in his career Davis exhibited in Europe and the United States including the Pennsylvania Academy and the Salmagundi Club.

Samuel Chamberlain, American, 1895-1975, drypoint etching, "The Verdant Village", image size: 6 1/2 x 11 inches. 1931, edition 75/100, cat. Chamberlain and Kingsland-107, pencil signed, numbered and titled. This scene of Bellefontain, Ile-de-France, exhibits Chamberlain's ability to create subtle gradation in plate tone.

An energetic image of a young woman walking her two Russian wolfhounds, this etching measures 5 7/8 x 7 7/8 inches, c. 1930, pencil signed below the image, titled on the lower margin. Diana Thorne was a well known early 20th century artist and illustrator, known especially for her etchings of dogs and illustrations of numerous children's books.
