Stephen Parrish, American, 1846-1938, "Fishery on the Dee". A very fine original etching by American artist Stephen Parrish, this image is one of three images Parrish created of Chester, a small walled town near Liverpool, England. The image size is 9 1/4 x 7 3/8 inches, 1884, state I/II, before the remarque in the lower margin, cat: Schneider- 107, pencil signed.

Sir Francis Seymour Haden, British, 1818-1910, "Shere Mill Pond No. II". Tavik F. Simon, Czechoslovakian, 1877-1942, "Puente Nuevo at Rondo- Spain". This is a remarkable original etching by Czechoslovakian artist T. F. Simon, depicting the stunning architecture of the Puente Nuevo bridge in Ronda, Spain. The image size is 13 1/4 x 9 1/8 inches, published in 1913 in an edition of 150, cat: Novak-206, nunmbered in pencil with the artist's stamp lower left, pencil signed lower right...

Mortimer Menpes, English, 1860-1938, "Interior of St Maclou, Rouen". This etching by Mortimer Menpes measures 12 3/8 x 6 3/8 inches, pencil signed, c. 1902, edition of 50, looking towards the Gothic Baldachin. Menpes attended the School of Art in London in 1878 and started exhibiting at the Royal Academy in 1880. He became a major figure in the etching revival, producing more than seven hundred different etchings and drypoints, which he usually printed himself.

T.F.Simon was born in Bohemia, now the Czech Republic. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague and traveled extensively throughout Europe, as well as Asia and the U.S. He lived in Paris from 1905-1913, then returned to Prague to teach at the Academy of Fine Arts...

Pencil signed "Kerr Eby imp", the "imp" indicating that Eby printed this impression himself. Kerr Eby was a remarkable printmaker and a member of the Cos Cob Art Colony and friends with many of the important artist of the day, including Childe Hassam and John Taylor Arms...
