Harold Kerr Eby 1889-1946 American This is a rare trial proof etching and sandpaper ground by American artist Kerr Eby. The title is: Island Winter, this was created and printed in 1941. This is the rare first state of the later published etching, the image measures 9 9/16X15 3/16. This scene was most likely Connecticut or Maine. It appears in the Giardina Catalog as image number 204. The later published edition numbered 100. This is a unique proof.
