John Stockton deMartelly Open John Stockton deMartelly configuration options 1903-1979 American This is a very fine original lithograph by American regionalist artist John S. deMartelly. The title is White Pastures, it was created and printed in 1939 and sold through Associated American Artists in New York. The image measures 10X13 3/4 inches. This image was based on a painting created by deMartelly which was described by the artist as: "just two horses in a winter field covered with snow on a Missouri Farm" This lithograph is pencil signed ,dated and inscribed as a gift to his friends in the lower margin. The image appears in the North catalog as image number 27. Printed on a medium weight wove type sheet.
