Luigi Kasimir 1881-1962 Austrian This is a fine pencil signed color etching by Austrian artist Luigi Kasimir. The subject is The Brooklyn Bridge, titled: Cable Bridge. The image measures 16 1/2X11 1/2 inches. Fine condition, a richly printed impression. 'Kasimir was a pioneer in the colored etching technique. He started with a sketch, usually in pastel, and then transferred the design on as many as four to six plates. He printed one after the other and applied the color on the plate by hand".
