This is a wonderful piece of Viennese Enamel by the well known maker Hermann Boehm. Set on a six sided silver and enamel base, a silver winged cherub is supporting the cornucopia horn on his back. The wings of the cherub are enameled and he is carrying a silver bow. There are 15 different enamel scenes, inside the top is a scene with Neptune, many other scenes show bare breasted women bathing, telling secrets and conversing. The scenes around the base have a more biblical feel. The silver mounts are all enameled in a variety of colors. The underside is also enameled in a symmetrical swirled design. Height 15 ½ inches. Hallmarked in several places, the HB for Hermann Boehm and the A hallmark in a 6 sided cartouche for Vienna 1866.
