This is a beautiful Japanese Silver and Polychrome Enamel Creamer made Circa 1890. The body of the creamer is enameled in relief with green foliage and tendrils of purple and white wisteria, as well as a bird in flight above a multi colored enamel flower patch. The handle is in the form of a stalk of bamboo. The body is engraved with a Japanese character signature and the underside of the base is impressed with a Japanese character maker’s mark. Height: 2 ¾ Inches. Diameter: 2 ½ Inches. Very Good Condition with a few minor enamel imperfections. Weight: 3.5 Inches.
