This unusual perfume bottle was made in London Circa 1894. It has a square shape and is four sided. The body of the bottle is done with very rare red color glass which is cut on all four sides and the bottom in starburst patterns. The top section of the bottle is cased and the sterling which is applied to the glass is intricately pierced with scrolls, flowers, leaves, and a basket weave pattern.
The hinged cover which is gilded on the inside is highly decorative also with figures, flowers, scrolls, and leaves.
It measures 5 1/2" in height and has English hallmarks as well as WC for William Comyns. The perfume bottle is in excellent condition.
