Hammered sterling silver tea and coffee service in Japanese style. Made by Gorham in 1905. This service comprises 1 teapot with hinged cover, 1 coffeepot with hinged cover, 1 creamer, 1 sugar with cover, and 1 waste bowl.
All pieces rest on foot ring, and have blossoming branch applied to hammered honeycomb ground, and branch-form bracket handles. Spouts are also branch form.
Textural and refracts light. A turn-of-the-century service incorporating Japanese and Craftsman influences. Fully hallmarked. Excellent condition.
