Hand-hammered sterling silver centerpiece punchbowl. Made by Tiffany in New York, ca. 1920. Octagonal with tapering sides, short stem, and octagonal dome foot. Allover hand hammering and applied strapwork. Molded rims. A large-scale adaptation of Arts & Crafts principles to a geometric form. The pattern (no. 19810) was first produced in 1920. Hallmark includes phrases “Special Hand Work” and “14 Pints”. Excellent condition with good patina.
