Sterling silver flask with grape-picking cherubs. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York, ca. 1900. Straight sides, curved shoulders, and short neck with hinged, threaded, and cork-lined bun cover. Acid-etched ornament on front and sides: one cherub stands on tiptoe reaching for the grapes while a second lolls on the ground. A traditional scene against a backdrop of curvilinear Aesthetic ornament. Plain back. The pattern (no. 7076) was first produced in 1882. Hallmarked. Excellent condition.
