Art Nouveau sterling silver basket. Made for JE Caldwell in Philadelphia, ca. 1900. Oval well with wide and flared mouth and swing handle. Sides have pierced and graduated lattice. Cast roses and foliage applied to rim interior. Handle has c-scrolls applied to rim. Same applied to foot rim. Hallmarked. Excellent condition with fine definition and patina.
