Art Deco sterling silver and enamel frame. Made by Thomae in Attleboro, Mass., ca 1930, for Cartier in New York. Vertical rectangular window with yellow engine-turned border and silver edges. Mounted to faceted rectangular silver base with geometric ornament: central oval between graduated brackets. Soft Modernism. With beveled glass, printed trefoil liner, and stained wood back. Hallmarked. Fine condition.
